Selma Cemetery Board is appointed by the County Supervisor for a 4 year term. They then elect officers at the January Regular meeting of the Board. The Board voted many years ago not to take any type of stipend or benifts from the District, that decission is still honored by the current Board.  You can find the vacancies and appointments at the Fresno County Supervisor site at under Board, Commission and Committees.
You can request an Annual disclosure of board member or employee reimbursements for individual charges over $100.00 for services or product. This information is to be made available for public inspection. "Individual charge includes, but not limited to : one meal, lodging for one day, or transportation,

Employee Salary and Benefits
General Manager       $67,569 - $76,050 Full Time Position         Grounds Supervisor   $52,000 - $58,531 Full Time Position

Grounds Man              $31,200 - $51,126.40 Full Time Position         Office Assistant             $33,280 - $33,945.00  Full Time Position  

The District pays 100% of the Medical, Dental and Vision insurance for all full time employee's, 50% for the employee's family or spouse. Employee's receive 9 paid Holiday's per year, and can earn up to 15 days vacation and 15 days sick time. The District also contributes 3.5% of the employee's salary to their retirement program.
